Sometimes we can face unexpected rain or snow after we begin our spring fertilization’s. It is impossible to predict the weather and we always try our best to get to our customers as soon as we can so we can get your lawn looking right. The good news about rain or snow is that both are very good for this treatment. The way fertilizer works is that it needs to get pushed down to the root system and it needs to mix with water. Once the fertilizer mixes with water down in the root system the roots actually suck up the water and thus also suck up the fertilizer. Therefore if it happens to rain or even snow after your spring application of fertilizer this is a very good thing because it saves you from the labor and expense of watering it in yourself!
